For in-person sessions clients will have a seat in our lobby and their therapist will call them back at the start of their appointment time. Clients will meet with their therapist for 53-60 minutes. During that time the therapist will briefly go over intake paperwork and then spend the remainder of the time allowing the client to share what brought them into therapy. This can be led by the client freely sharing or therapist asking questions, depending what is preferred by the client.

Yes, we offer free 15-30 minute consultations if you would like to ensure we are a good fit. We typically suggest starting with a free 15 minute phone consultation and determining from there if an in-person consultation would be useful before scheduling an intake.

Part of what makes our approach different is that we are a small private practice, and clients are made to feel like a person not a number. You can read our bios and choose who you are drawn to and would like to see. You can schedule, email or call your therapist directly at your convenience and avoid going through an answering service. It is also all the small things we wrap into our services like real mugs to make your coffee and tea in while you wait for your appointment and to bring into your appointment. The warm inviting office space with couches and comfy chairs to help you feel more comfortable and at ease during your sessions. We know therapy can already be hard enough, we work hard to create a space that makes that work easier.

Everything discussed in session remains confidential under the guidelines of HIPAA and legal requirements. Clients are welcome to sign a Release of Information (ROI) to if they wish for their therapist to have contact with others.
